The sansevieria also known as Mother in laws tongue is possibly the most recognisable and popular houseplant there is,  with its mottled grey-green leaves and distinct creamy-yellow margin it's considered by many to be almost indestructible, it’s hard to find a situation in a house where it won’t grow. It stands proud and its warm colouring ensure it stands out from the crowd.
